The Jacaru 1001P Kangaroo Premium hat is made from full grain, water repellent kangaroo leather, just like our best selling 1001.
However, what makes it a premium hat is a stiffer brim thanks to its moldable wire. It's also meeting our highest quality standards and we trust it will meet your highest expectations as well.
Of course, you can expect it to provide excellent protection from the harsh Australian sun and the soaking rains of the wet season. Kangaroo leather is the most durable, meaning it will last yet remains soft and lightweight keeping it comfortable. Hand made in Australia.
This is my second hat from Jacaru (Jacaru 1021 Blaze Hat), which is an excellent hat.
This hat is lightweight, airy, thin leather. It is nicely crafted, has an easy to shape brim and shades well. The only question is, will the kangaroo leather really be as durable and long lasting? Time will tell.
