This is a multi review. I'm not doing 5 seperate reviews for 5 hats.
I bought a Jacaru in 1990 and it's still alive & kicking. It's been to Egypt 5 times, Africa 5 times, India 3 week tour, Spain 8 times ,Portugal, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and others. It's also been worn on a regular basis in the UK. 10 year guarrantee? Oh yeah! and the rest. This is over 30, and still going.
It's showing its age a bit now, so I ordered another, then another . . . I've now got five of em. A Roo Nomad, A Kangaroo Hat Black, A Bush Tucker, A Wallaroo, and the original one, which I'll keep for doing mucky jobs in. All these fit perfectly, and are extremely comfortable and light to wear. What makes this happen is the sizing. ( and ofcourse the quality of the leather) I can get medium/large 58cm, which fits me perfectly, and isn't always the case with other brands. And the style of Jacaru hats is just what I want.
OK, I could get one that looks exactly the same from a country just north of India, but they feel like cardboard, and fit like sh*. (trust me. I know. I've had one. wore it twice and took it to the charity shop.)
I've now invested in the best. . . and I'm glad I did.
