This is the latest hat to enter my collection. I've got four others, three bought recently, and one I've had for over 30 years. They all have different a style, but all have things in common.
They're top quality, hard wearing, comfortable, and excellent value.
I live in the UK, so my hats came with an extra charge for postage, but I still consider them good value.
This one, the Bush Tucker, is no exception.
The front of the crown is higher than the back, which seemed like a strange idea at first. However, it does mean that I can tip the hat forward to shade my eyes and the hat stays straight and level. I like that.
The alternatives over here all seem to be made just north of India, and cost around a quarter of the price of these. But they feel like cardboard, and don't look as if they'll last 30 days, never mind 30 years. (I know this from experience. The one I bought was worn a couple of times then went to the charity shop, and I ordered "the real deal".
I'm glad I did. Top notch headwear !
